Make a nomination

All staff and employees of University-owned subsidiaries, such as University Bus Ltd and Exemplas, can nominate for the Vice-Chancellor's Awards.

All current students are also able to nominate staff in three of the categories.

• You can nominate any individual or team who works for the University and its subsidiary owned companies, such as Uno and Exemplas.
• The work for which a person or team is nominated must have largely taken place in the year of the awards.
• The substance of a written nomination for an individual or team cannot be used for more than one award.
• Each nomination will be assessed by our awards judging panel comprising staff from across the University including members of the Herts SU. The panel will consider all the nominations before drawing up a list of finalists for each award.
• The judging panel will not make a second award for submissions that are substantially the same as previously successful VCA nominations.
• Nominating yourself, or canvassing support amongst your colleagues and friends is against both the rules and the spirit of these awards.
